SARA LOUISA - AUTHOR

The daughter of a folk musician, I grew up in the lovely coastal town of Brixham in South Devon and have spent the past 14 years living in Maidenhead, Berkshire. 

My childhood was spent enjoying the simple things in life; walking in the woods, swimming in the sea, connecting with nature and spending time with family. These experiences have very much influenced my writing.  

I was inspired to write Bettie Honeybee one summer's day in 2020, after watching a little bee tend flowers at Fenworthy Reservoir on Dartmoor.
